Synthesis: The synthesis of methylammonium bromide typically involves the following steps:
- Reacting methylamine (CH3NH2) with hydrogen bromide (HBr) to yield methylammonium chloride (CH3NH3Cl).
- Reacting methylammonium chloride with sodium bromide (NaBr) to obtain methylammonium bromide (CH3NH2Br).
- Reacting methylammonium bromide with hydrochloric acid (HCl) to produce the final product, methylammonium bromide (CH3NH3Br).
